Kesha’s Comeback

Kesha says it’s the “first day I’ve owned my voice in 19 years.”

The “TiK ToK” singer posted Instagram that she is going to release new music soon as part of a whole new chapter in her life.

Her legal battle with her former label, Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe, officially ended in June 2023 and the day is coming when she is finally legally free to release new music.

She told V Magazine in February that she had found inspiration while teaching a songwriting course in California.

“I’ll say this: I’ve never felt happier, more excited, more at peace and had such a purpose in my entire life. And I feel like I have earned the right to be this happy for sure. So letting that be… I am loving every minute of what feels like a brand-new and very exciting chapter,” Kesha said.

Kesha sued Dr. Luke in 2014, accusing him of sexual, physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. They settled out of court.
