NEW KIDS' Christmas special from this week 1990 was IT.
If you were a child of the late 80s and early 90s, you saw more than just a COUPLE pictures of the New Kids on Tiger Beat, Teen Beat, 17… Whatever. But tonight, they went from magazine covers to TRUE icons as the New Kids on the Block Christmas special aired on ABC.
And yes, I remember watching it myself. ALL my friends were. It was one of THE moments for Gen X’ers and Xennials where we were all watching TV at the same place, same time, and talking about it on the playground tomorrow.
