It’s FESTIVUS for the REST-U-VUS! Now, let’s air some grievances on THE TOP 3!

Time to get ANGRY!

It’s a “Seinfeld” episode that us fans will never forget: Frank Constanza’s declaring of December 23rd as a “Festivus for the Rest-u-vus” – a troubled holiday complete with a meal, a pole, and an “airing of the grievances” where you tell people what you REALLY think about them.

With that in mind, we couldn’t help but put together THE TOP 3 for tonight of some of the angriest Throwbacks of all time where the GRIEVANCES truly get aired.

3) Phil Collins – I Don’t Care Anymore – Similar to “In The Air Tonight,” “I Don’t Care Anymore” featured a killer drum solo.  It harkens feelings of Collins’ divorce, and as dark as it is, it is MASTERFUL.

2) J. Geils Band – Love Stinks – While not a major hit at the time, “Love Stinks” got a nice boost from its feature in “The Wedding Singer” with Adam Sandler in the 90s.  Now, the song is one of THOSE breakup songs that ends up on spotify and youtube playlists that you’ll undoubtedly be scrolling through should YOU ever go through a breakup too.

1) Joan Jett & The Blackhearts – I Hate Myself For Loving You – Joan Jett is a true BADASS.  And for whatever reason, after “I Love Rock and Roll” and “Crimson and Clover,” her “badass-ery” wore off and she didn’t see a lot of success between 1982 and the late 80s.  But in 1988, this song proved JOAN was BACK… and giving no cares.

So, air your OWN grievances… carefully… and we’ll enjoy these on THE TOP 3 tonight!
