Ariana Grande’s Next Tour Could Be It For Awhile

Fresh off the worldwide hoopla surrounding her wickedly successful turn as “Glinda” in the “Wicked” films, Ariana Grande is getting ready to go out on tour again!

Her Eternal Sunshine tour will kick off this summer. It’s her first tour in six years and she’s hinted it may be her last for a good long while.

Grande talked to E! News last night at the Critics Choice Awards in Los Angeles. “I’ve been working on the setlist for months now. It’s in a good place, but we’ll never know until we get into the rehearsals – which are starting very soon – and we put things on their feet if it’ll make sense or not,” she said.

In November, Grande appeared on Amy Poehler’s podcast and hinted that some big changes may be coming in her life and career. “I think the last 10 to 15 years will look very different to the ones that are coming up,” Grande said. “I don’t want to say any definitive things. I do know that I’m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long time.”

Grande has returned to her roots in acting in recent years, earning rave reviews for both “Wicked” films. She also hosted “Saturday Night Live” multiple times and showed off her comedic side. Her career started in the Broadway musical “13” in 2008, and then she starred in the Nickelodeon series “Victorious” and “Sam & Cat.” She released her debut album, Yours Truly, in 2013, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
