If We Could Plan Usher’s Super Bowl Set…

Usher just turned 45 years old! The “King of R&B” celebrated a birthday on Saturday and is experiencing something of a comeback these days. He’s in the middle of a Las Vegas residency at the Park MGM, he just scored his first Top 30 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in nearly a decade with “Good Good,” and oh yes, he’ll be performing during halftime of a certain football game in February!

We started thinking about what songs Usher might perform during the Super Bowl halftime show, and came up with this list of our Top 5… what do you think?

#1 “Yeah!”

This song is so catchy, even 20 years later! We’re going to call it now, it has to be either the first song or the last song of his Super Bowl set.

#2 “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love”

Again, this song is so catchy and we bet you remember all the words, even if you haven’t heard it in several years!

#3 “OMG”

We are on a roll with fun Usher songs we all went clubbing to! Can’t you just hear the Super Bowl crowd singing along “Oh oh oh oh?”

#4 “U Got It Bad”

If he slows it down at some point during the show, this seems like a logical choice. It’s a fan favorite and would sound great live, combined with his fancy footwork!

#5 “Without You”

This collaboration with David Guetta would certainly fill a giant football stadium with spectacular sound!
