A New Song Is Coming From Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez is in her empty-nesting era – and it’s inspired her to work on new music!

J-Lo’s twins, Max and Emme, went to college this fall. She told Variety: “They take up such a big part of your brain for so long, and when they’re gone, which is devastating and sad and scary, you’re facing a life that’s totally different now, and you’re like, ‘What am I going to do with this space and this time?’ For me, I just went back in the studio. I’ve written some of the best songs that I’ve ever written, and I’m really excited. It’s a very happy era album. It’s some of the most joyous, beautiful songs that have just a tad of a tear in them.”

The first new song is called “Proof of Love,” which she described as a happy dance song. It will be a bonus track on the new vinyl release of 2011’s “Love?” sometime in November. That album includes the songs “On the Floor” with Pitbull, “I’m Into You” featuring Lil Wayne, and “Papi.”

Lopez said that song will be followed by a couple of others “for my gays.”

Additionally, Lopez’s new concert film, “The JLo Show: Live in Vegas,” will air Thanksgiving night, November 26, on CBS and will stream on Paramount+.
