Britney Spears Releases Song Meant For 2001 Album
It’s Throwback Britney – with Justin Timberlake!
Britney Spears has posted a previously unreleased collaboration with Timberlake, “She’ll Never Be Me,” a song that was recorded for her 2001 album Britney.
A 25th anniversary edition of the album is due out on November 6, and will include a total of five previously unreleased tracks. The other new songs include “Am I a Sinner,” “When I Say So,” “My Big Secret,” and a full version of her song in a 2002 Pepsi commercial, “Right Now (Taste the Victory).”
There was little fanfare to the release of the new song, probably due to the fact that Spears said in 2024 that she would “never return to the music industry.”
Spears also returned to Instagram over the weekend, posting lingerie pictures and dancing videos. She was released from a 13-year conservatorship in 2021.
The song sounds very 2001-era Britney… take a listen!
