Justin Timberlake Gets Into Soda Business
Justin Timberlake is now a co-founder of a soda company!
The musician and his wife, actress Jessica Biel, have signed onto Proda, a brand that launched earlier this year. It’s a protein soda, with 10 grams of protein in every 12-ounce can. The brand is currently being sold at Sprouts Farmers Markets, Amazon.com, and drinkproda.com.
It has seven flavors: lemon lime, classic orange, cherry lime, strawberry lemonade, golden apple, Shirley Temple, and root beer.
In a statement, Timberlake and Biel said: “The opportunity to work with Matthew and Jeff (co-founders and CEOs) in shaping the brand, its products and where it goes next is what made this an exciting opportunity for us. Proda’s nutritional benefits were equally as important. We believe you shouldn’t have to choose between what tastes good and what’s good for you.”
