Julia Stiles Saved The Last Dance… For The Ballroom!
Fans of the 2001 hit movie “Save the Last Dance” are lobbying HARD to see a bit of the film on the ballroom floor!
Actress Julia Stiles will compete on the new season of “Dancing With The Stars” on ABC this fall.
She starred in the movie as 17-year-old Sara Johnson, a ballet dancer in Chicago who falls for a black teenager at her new high school. They share a love of dance and she overcomes obstacles to audition for Juilliard. Her audition dance is being shown on social media by fans as a request to include some of the film in the TV show!
Stiles is partnered with pro Ezra Sosa for season 35.
She will compete with Tatyana Ali, Tyler Cameron, Giada de Laurentiis, Jenna Dewan, Ezra French, Amber Glen,n Taylor Hanson, Maura Higgins, Conner Leavitt, Ciara Miller, Sarah Jane Nader, Jackson Olson, Guillermo Rodriguez, Harry Shum Jr., Julia Stiles, and Connor Wood.
