Eminem’s Sneakers Fetch Big Bucks At Auction
Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
A lot of fans are going to look like Eminem after snatching up his sneakers at auction!
Eminem put up over 100 rare sneakers from his own collection, to be auctioned off to raise money for the Marshall Mathers Foundation.
The auction closed after raising $485,760 for the charity, that supports at-risk youth in Detroit.
In a post on Instagram, Eminem thanked those who took part. “Thank u to everyone for supporting our auction … we raised $400k all 4 a good cause!!!” he wrote.
The two pairs that fetched the most money were the unreleased ‘Slim Shady’ Air Jordan 3’s, with each pair selling for $51,200.
