BLACK HISTORY MONTH THROWBACK SPOTLIGHT: The Birthday Boy, Bobby Brown!

Happy birthday to one of the baddest of the bad boys, Bobby Brown, who turns 52 today.

And don’t get me wrong, I like Bobby’s music and all, but for some reason, I was thinking he was older than that.  (I’M SORRY BOBBY!  I DON’T WANT TO AGE YOU.)  Though, for someone turning this age, he has certainly been through a lot.  From stardom at a young age in New Edition, to a rocky marriage to Whitney Houston, to Whitney’s untimely death, and the death of his daughter Bobbi Kristina, maybe it’s time we just give Bobby a break and let him celebrate with some peace and quiet.

Bobby, take some time this weekend to celebrate your musical accomplishments.  And whatever you choose, we truly hope it is YOUR PREROGATIVE all weekend long.
